So… I started this love affair with Youtube probably around 6-7 years ago. I love being able to get to know people in a more personal way than instagram or podcasts and I almost always feel inspired when I watch videos. The videos range from decluttering, to home design, to personal encouragement. Some people binge watch TV shows, I binge watch youtube. You can find pretty much any topic you want and learn about it. It could be fashion inspiration, travel inspiration, encouragement, DIY tutorials and more.
ASHLYN CARTER
She is real and honest. I love the way she lives such a transparent life and encourages others to grow and learn. She is also a creative person, which is right up my alley. She used to be a Floral designer and still does floral design and videos on them too :). She also does some Home DIY’s and her and her husband are the cutest couple. She is a mom and also shares ways to balance her life and make quick and delicious, guilt free recipes.
MR KATE
Jewelry Designer, Creative weirdo, Interior DIYer. She has many home design/ decorating series. She also has some personal videos/vlogs where you can get to know her more personally. She is quirky, but that is what I love. A little unexpected.
MESSY MINIMALIST
Exactly what her name is. She is on a journey from messy to minimalist learning and sharing with whoever wants to watch. She is open about where she is at in the process and encourages others to join in. It is one thing to learn from an organized or decluttered person, it is another to learn from someone who is in the same place as you… Messy. She processes clutter in the same way that I do. I have learned a lot and sometimes declutter with her or watch her videos when folding laundry or cleaning.
HOUSE & HOME
I want my house to look like every video on this channel. House & Home is a Canadian Home Magazine that showcases and designs BEAUTIFUL homes. The houses that they tour and describe are simple, beautiful well designed spaces. Not just cute or trendy, really classic spaces with attention to detail. I can always find inspiration here. They also have some trend videos and DIYS.
STUDIO MCGEE
This couple started a Design Studio in Salt Lake City, Utah and they design beautiful homes. If you like home design, subscribe. They do video tours of homes they have designed, behind the scenes videos, and product launch videos. They have their own online store with everything they create. <3 <3
